![]() ![]() Harbor Jam drew attendances on average of about 3,000 people with guests enjoying music from the comforts of the Mohawk Harbor amphitheater, boats in the marina and the harbor walkway. The free concert series, which began 23 June and concluded on 11 August, featured national touring acts like Pure Prairie League, Orleans, Lords of 52nd Street (Billy Joel’s former band), California Transit Authority (Featuring Danny Seraphine of Chicago) and the country’s top tribute bands playing the music of Elton John, Eric Clapton, U2 and Steely Dan. “Working with our partners at the Galesi Group, we set out to bring a free concert experience that would not only be entertaining, but unique to the Capital Region and I think we were successful in reaching those goals.” “We could not be happier with the success of our first summer concert series at Mohawk Harbor,” said Rivers Casino & Resort Assistant General Manger Justin Moore. ![]() The highly touted concert series was a big hit with Capital Region concertgoers and received glowing reviews for its diverse musical lineup and beautiful outdoor setting on Schenectady’s reawakened waterfront.
